About the Role

We are looking for Live Poultry Hangers to handle live chickens with care and precision, ensuring compliance and halal practices and safety standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of the halal processing line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload live poultry from vehicles in a safe and humane manner.
• Hang live chickens on the production line for processing.
• Follow strict halal guidelines to support religious compliance, making this role especially suited for practicing Muslims.
• Maintain health and safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Operate efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require standing, lifting, and working in a physically demanding setting.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high animal welfare standards.
• No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, but experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• A team-oriented mindset, with the flexibility to work shifts and weekends if required

Live Bird Hangers get a £15 bonus per day and Slaughterers get a £10 bonus per day additionally.

All training for the above can be provided for the right candidate.
