We currently have the pleasure of working with a well-established local business based in the Ipswich area who are seeking a skilled Horticultural Service Technician to join their growing team.
Our client are a trusted name, specializing in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of horticultural machinery. They have a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction and pride themselves on delivering top-notch service to both domestic and commercial clients. Their team is known for its expertise, reliability and dedication to keeping their client' equipment in top condition!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on horticultural machinery, with a focus on two-stroke engines.
- Manage the collection and delivery of machinery to and from clients when required.
- Occasionally engage in welding tasks (experience preferred but not mandatory).
What They Offer:
- Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half.
- 23 days of paid annual leave.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Additional Saturday work may be required from March to August.
- Enjoy a 1/2 hour lunch break and a 15-minute morning break each day.
- Comprehensive uniform provided, including T-shirts, jumpers, fleeces, safety boots, and trousers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience with garden machinery, particularly two-stroke engines.
- Welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
