We currently have the pleasure of hiring for our excellent client based in Great Blakenham who is seeking a Yard Operative to join their team on a temp-to-permanent basis.
The Job:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Temp-to-Perm
- £12.00 per hour, any hours in the day worked over 8 hours is paid at £18.00ph
Our client specializes in the processing of incinerator bottom ash and metal recycling. This process turns ash into clean mineral for use as aggregates and reduces the waste being sent into landfill.
As a Yard Operative, your role is to ensure the smooth running of the process plant by operating various stations and monitoring the IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) Process.
Your general duties will include quality control of the materials, ensuring the site remains at a high level of cleanliness—due to the ash, it can get quite messy—and there can be a build-up in the chutes, production checks, and separating the products.
No experience in this particular environment is required, as full induction and training are provided for the right candidate. Our client will teach you the plant processes and develop your maintenance skills.
Own transport is desirable.
