Welcome to Taylor Whitmore,
We currently have an excellent position available with our longstanding manufacturing client who are based in Hadleigh who are currently seeking a Plastic Injection Mould Toolmaker to join their team on a permanent basis.
Primary Objectives:
- Repair and modify injection mould tools to a high standard of workmanship.
- Read and understand technical drawings.
- Operate manual milling machines, lathes, surface, and cylindrical grinders.
- Use manual spark eroders.
- Wire hot runner systems.
- Diagnose and resolve tool faults.
- Ensure correct marking and labelling of tools.
- Suggest possible improvements to tooling or processes.
- Log completed tool maintenance and repair work.
- Assist colleagues in other areas of the business as needed.
- Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety Policy in all aspects of the role.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the start and throughout the shift.
- Maintain the highest standards set by the Company while working within established processes and procedures.
- Ensure the highest standard of confidentiality regarding customer details at all times.
This role is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
To be successful it is essential you have proven experience in Plastic Injection Mould Toolmaking.
