We currently have the pleasure of hiring for our fantastic client based in Eye, Suffolk who are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their growing team.
They are a friendly, forward-thinking medium sized family run business who have recently undergone expansion hence the need to grow the team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a company who have a great ethic and truly value their staff.
Key responsibilities will include:- Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance
- Inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production
- Report any quality issues to the line manager
- Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
- Filling out and reviewing of production paperwork
- Maintain retention samples
- Calibration of probes as requested
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role is desirable but not essential
- Previous food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential
- An eye for detail to catch defects
- A natural communicator and team player
- Ability to use initiative
- Flexible and adaptable
- Basic IT skills
- Confident and willing to learn
- Monday to Friday 14:00pm-22:00pm
- Monday to Friday 06:00am-14:00pm/ 14:00pm-22:00pm rotating shift
