Warehouse Distribution Assistant

We currently have the pleasure of seeking a Warehouse Distribution Assistant for our client based in Rendlesham on a temporary ongoing basis.

Our client are a family-owned wholesale company who specialize in importing and supplying product across the UK and offshore islands. Due to their continued expansion, they are looking to grow their team.

You will be responsible for general warehouse duties, including packing and dispatching both perishable and non-perishable goods. You will also assist with goods-in and goods-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• packing perishable goods and sundries
• checking deliveries against dispatch otes
• assisting with ad-hoc tasks
• helping with stock checking
• ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• occasional delivery duties

Skills and Experience Required:

• willingness to learn and develop new skills
• strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
• effective communication skills
• basic IT skills
• physical fitness
• full, clean driving license
