Welcome to Taylor Whitmore,
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our long standing clients team based in Felixstowe. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a forklift and picking and packing orders ready to go to despatch.
Duties to include but not be limited to:
- safely load and unload materials from vehicles and containers using forklift equipment
- handle materials with care to prevent damage to product
- perform manual lifting when required
- picking and packing orders ready for despatch
This role is initially temporary starting from the end of June through to September to cover a peak period, however there is the potential of a permanent contract offered for the right candidate. You will be initially trained on the day shift (6am-3:30pm) before moving onto the late shift which is 3:30pm-1am, £12.30ph.
You will need a valid in date counterbalance forklift license and either hold a MLOP license or be willing to be trained on this in house.
